Horizontal Milling

High-efficiency multi-face machining solution for horizontal milling: Heavy cutting power, high stability, multi-face clamping in one operation.
High-Efficiency Machining for Large and Complex Components

Horizontal milling is a highly efficient machining process that utilizes a horizontally mounted spindle to remove material from a workpiece. Compared with vertical milling, horizontal milling offers superior rigidity, higher material removal rates, and improved chip evacuation, making it ideal for large, heavy-duty, and high-volume machining applications.

Our advanced horizontal milling capabilities enable us to manufacture complex precision components with exceptional accuracy, consistency, and productivity.

What Is Horizontal Milling?

Horizontal milling is a CNC machining process in which the cutting tool is mounted on a spindle positioned parallel to the workpiece surface. This configuration allows cutting forces to be distributed more effectively, enabling deeper cuts, faster machining speeds, and improved machining stability.

The horizontal spindle design naturally removes chips from the cutting zone, reducing heat buildup and minimizing tool wear.
